PyMOL For-Evaluation-Only Builds

Please feel free to evaluate the current PyMOL release, prior to compilation or sponsorship!

Version 1.2 (preview)

Note that version 1.2 evaluation builds do not contain the following bundled extras, which will be present in the offical 1.2 release builds: 3D MMFF structure cleanup, MPEG export, Maestro integration, RigiMOL structure morphing, and bundled precompiled builds NumPy and APBS.

Version 1.1

Windows: pymol-1_1eval-bin-win32.zip (32-bit)

Mac OS X: macpymol-1_1eval.tgz (32-bit universal binary)

Linux: pymol-1_1eval-bin-linux-x86-glibc23.tgz (32-bit)

In these builds, placarded "for evaluation only", image export features are impaired, session files are tainted, and clipboard support is disabled. Obsolete builds may be useful as well, since they are fully functional, if a bit old.

Full-time students and their teachers can register for educational use only builds.
