Data transfer to third countries

According to Art. 49 Paragraph 1 lit. a DSGVO, data may be transferred to third countries with the explicit consent of the website visitor. We therefore want to explain possible risks associated with data transfer to third countries such as the USA in more detail in the following: On our website, various services of third party providers based in the USA, such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, are used which sometimes also carry out personal data processing. However, the USA is considered by the European Court of Justice to be a country with an inadequate level of data protection according to EU standards. In particular, there is a risk that your data may be processed by U.S. authorities, for control and monitoring purposes. Furthermore, EU citizens do not have appropriate legal protection options in this regard. For this reason, when you first visit our website, we will inform you of the risks involved and ask for your express consent to data transfer to third countries. You will find your settings in this regard in the footer of the website under "Cookie settings". There you can withdraw your consent to data transfer to third countries at any time and also adjust your cookie settings for this website.
