EcoVadis Platinum Rating – Sustainable Paper Packaging
In March 2026, Delfort was awarded the Platinum Medal by the renowned sustainability assessment platform EcoVadis for the fifth consecutive year. With a total score of 89 out of a possible 100 points across the categories of Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Sustainable Procurement, and Business Ethics, we are part of a select group comprising less than 1% of all assessed companies worldwide. The EcoVadis ranking covers 220 industries, over 180 countries, and more than 150,000 international companies. The greatest progress this year was made in the Ethics category, driven by improved IT security measures, stricter anti-corruption policies, and comprehensive compliance training programs.
A key element of delfort’s sustainability strategy is its Net Zero Roadmap by 2050, which sets validated, science-based climate targets in accordance with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) Net Zero Standard. The roadmap outlines specific measures to reduce emissions across the entire company and supports our customers in offering their products in eco-friendly paper packaging. Building on this, delfort recently commissioned the world’s largest heat pump for steam generation, enabling the first of its production sites to operate entirely on fossil-free energy.
“In addition to ongoing efficiency improvements driven by modern technologies, further electrification, and investments in sustainable in-house energy generation, this marks a significant milestone for delfort. “The renewed EcoVadis Platinum rating confirms that we are among the world’s leading companies in the field of sustainability management and performance and underscores our commitment to achieving net-zero emissions,” says delfort COO Hannes Kinast.
