Barrier papers for dry products

Dry foods must be particularly well protected by the packaging to prevent the absorption of moisture and foreign aromas. Certain dry product segments can already be packaged effectively with functional barrier papers - without having to compromise on taste, shelf life or product safety.

Sustainable packaging for dry products

Our new thinbarrier® products can now also be used in the packaging of dry products, which was previously only possible with plastic films.

Supermarket shelves already stock numerous foodstuffs in paper packaging, such as rice, flour and pasta. Products such as cookies, muesli or powdered dry goods can also be easily packaged in paper. The combined high barriers and excellent heat-sealing properties of our barrier paper effectively protect these foods from drying out or clumping due to moisture and at the same time prevent the loss of aromas.
