Launch of the DELARIS R&D Digitalization Platform
DELARIS – The Digital Future of Our R&D
With DELARIS (“DELSCI Artificial Intelligence Software”), our research and development efforts are taking a decisive step toward digitalization. Since the application went live in February 2026, we have had access to a powerful platform that makes our R&D processes more efficient, transparent, and future-proof. The project began in May 2024 and was implemented in collaboration with our software partner ACP Cubido from Leonding. The goal was to create a centralized, flexible, and scalable solution that consolidates all relevant R&D data and makes it optimally usable. The platform is based on Microsoft Azure, providing a modern, secure, and flexibly expandable infrastructure for DELSCI’s data assets.
At the heart of DELARIS lies a comprehensive database in which experiments are systematically recorded and documented. All measurement data from current tests, as well as data from the most important tests conducted during our research over the past few years, are centrally stored in DELARIS, intelligently linked, accessible at any time, and—most importantly—searchable and comparable. This not only significantly facilitates access to existing knowledge but also improves the quality of data-driven decisions for R&D projects. Duplication of effort can be avoided, and development times can be shortened. Another key advantage is the numerous automated workflows. At the same time, DELARIS offers open, standardized interfaces (so-called APIs) that enable integration with other delfort systems. This makes the platform an important building block in our entire cross-functional IT landscape.
The platform is continuously being developed in close collaboration with users, with a particular focus on ease of use and improving data quality. The goal is to tailor DELARIS optimally to the practical requirements of everyday work. A look into the future reveals DELARIS’s full potential. Starting in 2027, the focus will also be on integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning. The data already collected will serve as the foundation for identifying patterns, making predictions, and steering our development work in an even more targeted manner. With DELARIS, we are not only creating a modern data platform but also laying the groundwork for data-driven innovation at DELSCI and delfort.
